Art.1- Duration
The client signatory of this contract for a fixed period of time, cannot stay longer than the determined date of departure and has not, in any circumstances, any rights over the premises at the end of the stay.
Art.2- Reservation
The booking can only be confirmed after the advance payment of 25% of the rental price, has been paid to the holiday residence together with a copy of the signed pre-dated contract.  A second copy is to be kept by the client.  The booking concluded between the parties in this contract is not transferable and the property may not be sublet or otherwise occupied by a third party, without the written consent of the holiday residence.  Any infringement of the last clause is likely to result in the immediate cancellation of the contract with the client and forfeit of the advanced payment.
Art.3- Cancellation by the client
Any cancellation must be sent to the holiday residence by registered letter.
a) Cancellation before arrival:  If the cancellation is less than 30 days before the arrival date, the advance payment is forfeited and the balance of the total holiday price must be paid.  If the client does not appear in the 24 hours after the arrival date, the present contract is cancelled and the holiday residence can relet the property.  The advance payment will be forfeited and the balance of the total holiday price is due.
b) If the holiday is shortened, there will be no refund.
Art.4- Cancellation by the holiday residence
The holiday residence will refund the advance deposit and an idemnity equal to the sum the client would have had to pay if he had cancelled the booking at this date.
Art.5- Arrival
The client must arrive on the arrival day and at the time indicated in this contract.  The property owner must be warned if there are any delays or problems.
Art.6- Payment of the balance
The balance of the total holiday price, extras, damage deposit and tourist tax are to be paid on arrival.
Art.7- Inventory check
There will be an inventory check on arrival and departure at the holiday residence, which will be signed by the representative of the holiday residence and the client.  This inventory will be the only reference in the event of litigation concerning the state of the property.  The cleanliness of the property on arrival of the client must be noted in the inventory check.  Cleaning of the property is the responsibility of the client during the holiday period and before departure.  The cleaning charge will be calculated according to the sum in the property description.
Art.8- Security deposit
On arrival of the client, the security deposit (the amount is indicated overleaf on this contract) must be paid to the holiday residence.  After the inventory check has been done on the departure of the client, this sum will be refunded by post the Monday following departure, less any deductions for cleaning or damage repair.
Art.9- Utilisation of the premises
The client is responsible for the peaceful nature of the property and must use the ski locker provided.
Art.10- CapacityThe contract specifies the maximum number of occupants of the property.  If this number is exceeded, the holiday residence can refuse the extra occupants.  Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered the fault of the client.
Art.11- AnimalsThe contract stipulates if the client is able or not to bring his pet on holiday.  If the ruling is not respected the holiday residence has the right to refuse the booking.  In this case no refund will be made.
Art.12- Insurance
The client is responsable for any damages caused by the occupants.  Holiday insurance must be taken out to cover all the different risks.
Art.13- Extra services
The following services are available at an extra charge.
a) Cleaning on departure.  Price varies depending on the size of the accommodation
b) Linen rental service
c) Possibility of having breakfast delivered.
The prices of these services are indicated in the rental contract, which must be signed by the client at the time of booking.
